The community is invited to share a morning with Sandy Philipson, award-winning author of the children's Max & Annie series, which has inspired thousands with stories of hope inspired by Sandy's spaniel who lost one of his legs. She has written eight books, produced a made-for-television movie and visited hundreds of schools, libraries and children's events. Sandy and her therapy dogs, Max, Annie Tak, Trini and Ollie have also been involved in therapy activities at the Cleveland Clinic and with many charitable causes.
