All are invited to join in a Shavuot Morning Study Session with Rabbi Joshua Caruso, "Thou Shall Not Covet: Is The Grass Really Greener?" The Festival of Shavuot commemorates God's giving of the Ten Commandments, and the Israelites' unconditional acceptance of the laws. While many of us can name some or all of the commandments, rarely do we have the chance to drill down and understand the modern relevancy of these ethical and ritual teachings. Join the Rabbi as he leads a focused discussion on the meaning and message behind the tenth commandment, Thou Shalt Not Covet. This is open to all.
Following the study session, there will be a Shavuot Morning and Yizkor Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m.
