This lecture by professor Benjamin Sommer of the Jewish Theological Seminary will review traditional rabbinic literature’s views concerning resurrection; examine the rather different biblical approaches to the issue; and analyze why modern Jews tend to know so little about traditional Jewish views of the afterlife.
