Flasher Arrested At Beachwood Place Mall
Police busted a man for exposing himself in the parking lot on Wednesday. That incident and others in this week's blotter.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Police were able to catch a man that exposed himself in the parking lot of Beachwood Place Mall on Wednesday. The man was exposed a little after 2 p.m. when police were able to catch him and place him in custody.

OVI, Feb. 5 — Police were called to the Cedar Road entrance ramp to I-271 after a car drove into a ditch near the ramp. The man driving the car was arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired and reasonable control of a car.

Suspicion, Feb. 5 — A woman at the Salon Lofts said she got an annoying text from a customer.
Warrant Served, Feb. 6 — Officers went to the Garfield Heights Police Department to pick up a woman wanted on a Shaker Heights Municipal Court warrant.

Trespassing, Feb. 6 — A woman was arrested for stealing $250 of merchandise from Dillard's at Beachwood Place Mall. The woman had also been banned from going to the store.
Identity Theft, Feb. 6 — Someone stole a Shaker Boulevard resident's identity.
Receiving Stolen Property, Feb. 6 — Officers arrested a man for stealing $118 of merchandise from Dillard's on Tuesday.
Theft by Deception, Feb. 6 — A subsidiary of Ticknor's was scammed out of more than $17,000, according to an employee of the business. The money was taken from the company via a wire transfer, which can be very difficult for police to track.
Theft from Yards, Feb. 7 — Police arrested a man for stealing scrap metal from the dumpster at the Gundersen Building, 24800 Chagrin Blvd. The estimated value of the stolen scrap was $250, police said.
Warrant Served, Feb. 7 — Police were called to the scene of a disabled vehicle on Richmond Road. The driver had an active warrant with Northfield Police and was transferred into that department's custody.
Forgery, Feb. 7 — A Halburton Road resident's information was used to pass a counterfeit check. Police said they do not yet know where the check was used.
Drug Paraphernalia, Feb. 7 — Officers arrested a juvenile boy for having marijuana paraphernalia. He was in the parking lot of the Beachwood Place Mall when officers arrested him.
Indecent Exposure, Feb. 7 — Police arrested a man for exposing himself in the parking lot of Beachwood Place Mall. The man reportedly flashed himself at about 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
