Flasher Exposes Himself At Beachwood Grocery Store

The man flashed a woman at Giant Eagle on Chagrin Boulevard before jumping in a car and driving away.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Police tracked down and arrested a flasher over the weekend. The man exposed himself to a woman at Giant Eagle before fleeing the scene. Luckily, police were able to identify the man's vehicle.

Indecent Exposure, July 22 — During a visit to Giant Eagle, 24601 Chagrin Blvd., a man pulled out his genitals and exposed himself to a female shopper. The man then jumped in a car and drove off. His vehicle was identified and he was arrested in Moreland Hills.

Speeding, July 21 — Police stopped a woman going south on I-271 for speeding. She provided officers with a fake identity, but was found out. She had three active warrants for her arrest.

OVI, July 21 — A woman was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence after police stopped her car on Chagrin Boulevard. The woman was also cited for underage consumption.

Disturbance, July 21 — A verbal argument at Lifetime Fitness, 3850 Richmond Rd., became physical on Friday. However, when police arrived the fight broke up and neither party wanted to pursue charges. No charges will be filed.

Receiving Stolen Vehicle, July 21 — Police spotted a stolen car as it cruised down Park East. The vehicle had been reported stolen by Euclid Police, so Beachwood officers stopped the vehicle. There were two occupants in the vehicle and they were both arrested. The pair also had an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.

Disturbance, July 21 — Officers were called to the Cuyahoga County Board of Disabilities to break up a fight between two adults.

Shoplifting, July 22 — Aldo Shoes, 26300 Cedar Rd., at Beachwood Place Mall reported that a woman stole a $48 backpack.

Speeding, July 22 — A traffic crash brought police to the site of an accident on Cedar Road, near the mall. The driver that had hit another car had an active warrant out for their arrest through Wickliffe. That driver was arrested on the warrant and held on a Beachwood traffic charge, as well.

Trespassing, July 22 — After being told he was banned from the premises, a man was arrested for trespassing at Beachwood Place Mall. The man had previously been arrested at the mall in 2015 and told he could not return to the shopping area until 2018.

Shoplifting, July 23 — Police arrested a man for stealing 30 pairs of panties from Victoria's Secret at Beachwood Place Mall. The panties are collectively valued at $309.

Endangering Child, July 23 — Two juveniles were left inside a vehicle at Beachwood Place Mall. The adult woman who left them in the car was arrested.
