Former Dillard's Employee Returns, Shoplifts from Store

The employee was spotted stealing clothes but she got away with $27.50 worth of merchandise.

BEACHWOOD, OH - To abuse an often used phrase, there is no fury like a former employee scorned. An ex-Dillard's worker returned to their store this weekend and grabbed some merchandise without paying for it. Of course, her old coworkers ID'd her and police have issued a warrant for her arrest, because you shouldn't steal where you eat (another phrase I'm abusing).

Receiving Stolen Property, Feb. 3 - Police arrested an employee of Finish Line at Beachwood Place Mall, 26300 Cedar Rd., for receiving $100 worth of stolen property.

Warrant Served, Feb. 3 - Officers went to Cuyahoga County Jail to pick up a man wanted on an outstanding warrant at Shaker Heights Municipal Court.

Miscellaneous, Feb. 4 - A female on Green Road reported hearing strange voices.

Shoplifting, Feb. 4 - A former employee of Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Rd., was seen stealing several items of clothing from the store. A warrant has been issued for her arrest. She stole $27.50 worth of clothing.

Suspicion, Feb. 5 - A patient at Park East Healthcare told police she had been the victim of abuse. Police were unable to prove her allegations.
