Four Shoplifters Busted At Beachwood Mall Over The Weekend

BEACHWOOD, OH — The first weekend of April brought out the shoplifters. Police are either arrested or are looking for nearly half a dozen shoplifting suspects that hit stores throughout the city over the weekend. Read about each of those incidents below.

Warrant Served, April 6 — Police arrested a woman at Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Road, when they figured out she had a warrant for her arrest. She was taken into custody and then transported to Beachwood Jail.

Marijuana Possession, April 6 — A man was cited for having marijuana while shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue at Beachwood Place Mall, 26100 Cedar Road.

Shoplifting, April 6 — Officers were called to Giant Eagle for reports of someone stealing liquor. Police eventually identified a suspect. The man will be charged for both shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia at a later date, according to police reports.

Shoplifting, April 6 — Two juveniles were arrested for shoplifting from both Dillard's and Victoria's Secret on Friday. Police found about $350 of merchandise on the pair.

Shoplifting, April 6 — Police also arrested a man for stealing about $270 of merchandise from Dillard's.

License Suspension, April 7 — Police stopped a car on Chagrin Boulevard on Saturday after it didn't stop at a red light. The driver was found to have a suspended license.

Shoplifting, April 7 — A woman was arrested for stealing merchandise from Sephora at Beachwood Place Mall on Saturday. Officers found about $120 of merchandise on the woman. When confronted by police, the woman also lied about her identity adding a falsification charge to what she's facing.

Shoplifting, April 8 — Police arrested a man for stealing $170 of sunglasses from Sunglasses Hut.
