Free Ballet Coming To Beachwood Place This Weekend

BEACHWOOD, OH — The Cleveland Ballet will perform two excerpts from "The Nutcracker" for free at Beachwood Place on Saturday. The family-friendly shows will be held at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The ballet performances are free and open to the public. Seating may be limited, so guests will want to arrive early.

In addition to the ballet, guests can also take part in an afternoon tea experience at Center Court, off the main entrance, between Dillard's and Saks Fifth Avenue. The tea experience will run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Beachwood Place will host a variety of holiday-themed events before the end of the year. During the Beary Merry Scavenger Hunt, families can follow a map to find bears hiding throughout the property. Guests who find seven bears can redeem their map at Microsoft on Level 1 for a special gift. No purchase is necessary.

For the picture-seeking families out there, the Selfies with Santa event will be held until Christmas Eve at the Saks Fifth Avenue wing. Santa will also take pictures with pets every Monday between November 18 and December 16. Pictures cost $10. Santa will be available on Mondays from 5 p.m. to closing time.

Children with special needs, and their families, are invited to a sensory-friendly event called Santa Cares Day. Families can visit with and take pictures with Santa during the festivities on November 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

On December 7, 14 and 21, Beachwood Place will host holiday movie sing-a-long experiences.
