Free Security Training For Houses Of Worship
The FBI, U.S. Attorney's Office, Anti-Defamation League and Jewish Federation of Cleveland will run an interactive training session.

BEACHWOOD, OH — The FBI, Anti-Defamation League, U.S. Attorney's Office and Jewish Federation of Cleveland are hosting a training session on how to protect a house of worship in 2019.
The security training event is open to families, employees, and volunteers from any faith, including clergy, front-office staff, board members, etc.. The session is completely free and will be held Jan. 29 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Mandel JCC Stonehill Auditorium, 26001 S. Woodland Road, Beachwood.
During the event, attendees will learn advance prevention planning strategies, as well as best-practice security protocols and procedures. The training is interactive and will incorporate situation-specific examples, the Jewish Federation of Cleveland said.

The situation-specific examples will include an "active shooter" scenario.

There will also be a panel discussion on civil rights and hate crimes, and the best ways to work authorities.
