Get Out: Walking in Tel Aviv, Free Fly Fishing and Legacy Village Concert

WALKING TEL AVIV: PHOTGRAPHS BY DAVID BERGHOLZ

Where/When: / Exhibition began Tuesday and runs until August 21

Why Go: David Bergholz, who spent two weeks in Tel Aviv, Israel, expected to only shoot photos for personal use, but took more than 700 images. According to the Maltz Museum website: “He saw Tel Aviv as a vibrant metropolis of great energy and quirky beauty, with contrasts of wealth and decay and a distinct sketchiness in its infrastructure that is both charming and a little bit scary.”

Price: Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $5 for children 5-11 and free for children under 5

FREE FLY FISHING LESSONS

Why Go: The entire family can learn fly fishing from the experts at Orvis — no equipment necessary. Under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

NIGHTBREEZE AND THE OLDKIDS AT LEGACY VILLAGE

Where/When: Legacy Village/ Friday and Saturday, 7 to 10 p.m.

Why Go: Nightbreeze, a Motown-inspired group, and The OldKids, an oldies rock band, will perform as part of the Legacy Village summer concert series.

CLEVELAND GLADIATORS VS PITTSBURGH POWER

Where/When: Quicken Loans Arena/ Friday at 8 p.m.

Why Go: Take the Browns/Steelers rivalry indoors when the Gladiators take on the Pittsburgh Power in a game that will be nationally televised on the NFL Network. The Arena Football League team is currently 9-7 as it heads into the final two games of the regular season.

FRANK CALIENDO AT HILARITIES

Where/When: Hilarities 4th Street Theater/ Friday and Saturday at 7:30 and 10:15 p.m.

Why Go: The man of a thousand impressions made his fame on the sketch comedy show Mad Tv, but has since performed in several stand-up specials on TV as well as appearances on sports shows imitiating greats like John Madden and Charles Barkley.
