Gunshot Victim Taken To Beachwood Hospital

The wounded man was dropped off at Ahuja before being taken downtown for further treatment.

BEACHWOOD, OH — A man with a gunshot wound was dropped off at a local Beachwood hospital. The man had been shot in Cleveland. Eventually, the man had to be taken to University Hospitals downtown for further treatment.

After transporting the man, Beachwood officers contacted Cleveland Police and let the know about the incident. Read on for more information about that incident and others from the past week. Shoplifting, Oct. 2 — Police arrested a man for shoplifting $55 of merchandise from Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Rd.

Theft from Auto, Oct. 2 — Someone broke into a car parked at Lifetime Fitness, 3850 Richmond Rd. The thief smashed a window and stole a $1,500 computer.

Shoplifting, Oct. 2 — Two men were stopped by loss prevention officers at Dillard's for shoplifting. Police investigated and decided to arrest one of the two men for stealing a men's sweatshirt worth $60.

Mutual Aid, Oct. 3 — A man shot in Cleveland was dropped off at Ahuja's Emergency Room. The man was eventually taken to University Hospitals for further treatment and Beachwood Police notified Cleveland officers of the incident.

Suspicion, Oct. 3 — Someone tried to break into a man's car while it was parked outside the Four Seasons, 26600 Geo Zeiger Dr.

Marijuana Possession, Oct. 4 — Police stopped a car driving without its headlights on while it driving on Orange Place. The driver was arrested for possession of marijuana, driving with a suspended license and on active warrants in other cities.

Burglary, Oct. 4 — Officers were called to the Hamptons Building 4, 27060 Cedar Rd., for reports of a burglary that occurred overnight.

Theft from Building, Oct. 4 — It was a busy night at the Hamptons Oct. 4. Police were called to Building 1 for reports of a theft from building. About $1,300 of jewelry were reported stolen.
