Home on Halburton Road Hit by Burglar: Beachwood Police Blotter
A laptop and duffel bag were stolen from the unlocked home.

BEACHWOOD, OH - Remember to lock your homes, people. A resident of Halburton Road found that simple lesson out the hard way when their home, left unlocked, got rifled through by a burglar. Luckily, only a laptop and duffel bag were taken, but maybe it all gets prevented if you just lock up after yourself.
Theft, Dec. 2 - A cell phone and a cell phone case were stolen from Saks Fifth Avenue, 26100 Cedar Road. Police say the items are valued at $799.
Disorderly Conduct, Dec. 3 - Police arrested a man at the Unimart gas station, 25705 Chagrin Boulevard, for disorderly conduct and open container.

Shoplifting, Dec. 3 - A man was arrested for stealing four bottles of alcohol from Giant Eagle, 24601 Chagrin Boulevard. The bottles had a total combined value of $39.96.
Burglary, Dec. 4 - A home on Halburton Road was hit by a burglar, but there was no sign of forced entry. A laptop and a duffel bag were taken from the home. Police say the stolen goods are worth about $520.

Shoplifting, Dec. 4 - An adult and a juvenile female were arrested for shoplifting from Beachwood Place Mall, 26300 Cedar Road. The adult was also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
