Intoxicated Man Drove With Child In His Car, Beachwood Police Say
Plus, police caught several people with suspected weed at Beachwood Place Mall. Some of the suspects are also accused of shoplifting.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Police had a busy weekend in Beachwood. Officers dealt with multiple marijuana incidents at the mall, an intoxicated man driving with a 10-year-old, and more.

Damaged Property, Sept. 8 — Police were called to a home on Cedar Road for a damaged property report. Officers said a window at the residence had been shattered.

Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Sept. 8 — Two women were arrested for driving around in a stolen car. Police caught the women at Beachwood Place Mall, 26500 Cedar Rd. One of the women was also found in possession of shoplifted clothing from Dillard's. The value of the stolen clothing was $212.
Warrant Served, Sept. 8 — Police stopped a man for speeding on Commerce Park. The man had an active warrant for his arrest from Cleveland Police and was taken into custody.

Criminal Trespassing, Sept. 8 — A man trespassed at Beachwood Place Mall. When police tried to corral him, the man resisted officers.
Marijuana Possession, Sept. 9 — Two men were spotted hanging around Beachwood City Park, 24625 Shaker Blvd., after closing hours. Police investigated and found the men had marijuana in their possession. Officers cited the men for marijuana possession and trespassing.
Non-criminal Damage, Sept. 9 — A postal truck hit a utility box on Haverhill.
Disturbance, Sept. 9 — A family argument got out of control on Saturday. Two members of the family went outside to continue the argument. Police were called to the scene and everyone cooled off.
Shoplifting, Sept. 9 — A juvenile was caught shoplifting at Dillard's. He attempted to get away with $250 of merchandise.
Marijuana Possession, Sept. 9 — Sephora at Beachwood Place Mall reported a shoplifter. Police arrested a juvenile woman for the theft. Officers also found suspected marijuana on the girl and stolen merchandise from other stores at the mall.
Shoplifting, Sept. 9 — A man with an active warrant with Euclid Police was arrested at Beachwood Place Mall on Saturday. The man was suspected of shoplifting from stores at the mall.
Grand Theft Vehicle, Sept. 10 — A Hilltop Drive resident's 2002 Toyota Camry was stolen out of her driveway on Sunday. The vehicle was left unlocked and a spare key was left in the door panel.
Theft from Building, Sept. 10 — A purse was stolen from a kiosk at Beachwood Place Mall.
Endangering a Child, Sept. 10 — Police stopped a man for speeding and swerving around marked lanes on Cedar Road. The driver was arrested for operating a vehicle impaired. The man had a 10-year-old in the passenger seat of his car.
Receiving Stolen Property, Sept. 10 — A woman was arrested after it was learned the vehicle she was driving had a stolen license plate on it. The woman also had a suspended driver's license and a warrant for her arrest through Parma.
