Jewish Federation of Cleveland Names Charles Eisenman Award Winner
The award honors an individual in the Jewish Community for outstanding civic contributions.

BEACHWOOD, OH - Michael Siegal, of Gates Mills, has been selected as the recipient of the Charles Eisenman Award, which recognizes a local leader for outstanding civic contributions. The award is given by the Jewish Federation of Cleveland.
Siegal will be honored at the 113th Annual Meeting on April 20 at 7:30 p.m. at B’nai Jeshurun Congregation, 27501 Fairmount Blvd., Pepper Pike. All are welcome to attend the free event.
Siegal heads the Board of Trustees for the New Leadership Division of State of Israel Bonds. He also served as Board Chair for the Jewish Federation of Cleveland from 2010-2013.

After serving as the Board Chair for the JFC, Siegal moved on to become Board Chair of the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), which represents 148 Jewish communities across the US and Canada. He represented the organization in conversations with both the president of the United States and the prime minister of Israel.
Currently, Siegal is chairing the Secure Community Network (SCN), the first national non-profit dedicated to protecting the American Jewish community through homeland security initiatives.

Besides his work with the Jewish community, Siegal serves on numerous community and industry boards and is currently serving on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Board of Trustees in Cleveland.
Michael and Anita Siegal also launched the Michael and Anita Siegal One Happy Camper Program, a $1.25 million endowment aimed at recruiting Jewish children to overnight camps they may otherwise be unable to attend. The JFC operates One Happy Camper in partnership with the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland and the Foundation for Jewish Camp. More than 300 Cleveland children have attended Jewish camps through One Happy Camper Program.
Siegal is the Chairman and CEO of Olympic Steel.
The 113th Annual Meeting will also feature remarks by Dr. Ronald Clark, who oversaw critical infrastructure protection across physical and cyber risk activities for the Department of Homeland Security while serving as the Deputy Under Security for the National Protection and Programs Directorate. The program also includes an election of Federation trustees and a brief address from Gary Gross, the JFC Board Chair.
