Knife Drawn During Couple's Argument In Beachwood

A lover's quarrel got wildly out of control on Monday, with a woman pulling a knife on her boyfriend during the disagreement.

BEACHWOOD, OH — There is a saying about the fury of women and it's inability to be matched. During a dispute on Monday, one man found out what being on the receiving end of that rage can mean. Read on for more information on that incident and others from the past week.

Shoplifting, May 15 - Police arrested a man for shoplifting $59.50 worth of merchandise from Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Rd.

Disturbance, May 15 - An argument between a couple spun wildly out of control on Monday night. A woman pulled a knife on her boyfriend during a disagreement. No one was injured and when police arrived the knife was on the counter. There were two children in the apartment, a 3- and 6-year old. When police tried to interview the kids about what happened, the woman was trying to coach the 6-year-old on what to say. The woman was arrested and taken to Beachwood Jail.

Damaged Property, May 15 - Someone damaged a light post on Amhearst Circle.

Theft from Building, May 15 - Two rings, worth $300 each, were stolen from a residence at Stone Gardens, 27090 Cedar Rd.

Civil Matter, May 15 - During a test drive at Infiniti of Beachwood, a woman damaged a car.

Stopping After Accident, May 16 - Police arrested a man for hitting a car and then leaving the scene.

Shoplifting, May 16 - A man was arrested for stealing $84.99 worth of merchandise Dillard's.

Receiving Stolen Property, May 16 - Police stopped a man in a stolen car and found stolen property in the vehicle.

Theft from Building, May 16 - Someone stole a teacher's purse at Beachwood Middle School, 2860 Richmond Rd.

Disturbance, May 17 - Officers broke up a dispute between a man and a woman at the Double Tree Hotel, 3663 East Park. The man had suffered minor bruises but he declined to pursue charges.
