Loiterer Threatens To Shoot Beachwood Cops
A man caught hanging around Beachwood Place Mall threatened to kill police officers and security personnel.

BEACHWOOD, OH — A suspicious man loitering in the hallways of Beachwood Place Mall after business hours threatened to shoot police officers and security personnel on Saturday. The man tried to flee police after making his threats.
After a relatively quiet Black Friday at the mall, police encountered the suspicious man. After he made threatening comments toward the officers, the man took off running. Which was a bad move.
Officers caught up to the man and forced him into cuffs. The man fought officers as they tried to arrest him.

After getting the man into custody, officers found marijuana on his person. The man now faces charges for aggravated menacing, resisting arrest and possession of marijuana.
The holiday season is now in full swing, which means the criminal antics at Beachwood Place Mall will ratchet up. However, officers had a fairly quiet Black Friday. Only one arrest was made Nov. 24 at the mall, where one man was taken into custody for creating a disturbance.

Police then made a trespassing arrest on Sunday when they caught a man hanging around the mall after business hours. However, there's no indication that Sunday's loiterer threatened to kill police officers before resisting arrest.
