Loiterers Hang Around Beachwood Park At 2 A.M.: Blotter
Police investigated and arrested one of the loiterers. Plus, other incidents from the past week.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Three people were seen inside a car loitering around the Preston's Hope playground in the early morning hours on Monday. Police investigated the suspicious vehicle and ended up arresting one of the occupants.

Warrant Served, May 21 — Police saw a car parked at Preston's Hope playground at 2 a.m. on Monday morning. Three people were inside of the car and one of them had an outstanding warrant for their arrest. That person was arrested and taken to Westlake Police custody, where the warrant originated.

License Suspension, May 21 — A car was stopped on Enterprise Parkway because the registered owner had a suspended driver's license. The driver was cited for operating a car with a suspended license.
Found Property, May 21 — Keys were turned in by a woman who said she found them sitting on a sidewalk on Richmond Road, near Fairmount Boulevard.

Annoying Phone Calls, May 22 — A woman reported that her ex-husband has been harassing her via repeated phone calls.
Credit Card Theft, May 22 — A Beachwood man told police his ex-wife stole his business credit card and made unauthorized purchases.
Unsafe Vehicle, May 22 — Officers stopped an unsafe vehicle on Timberlane Drive. The car had no driver's side window. The driver had a suspended license. The car was towed and the driver was cited, police said.
Shoplifting, May 22 — Two adults were arrested for stealing merchandise from Saks Fifth Avenue. More than $1,400 of items were recovered from the duo.
Fraud, May 22 — Someone attempted to open a credit card using the personal information of a Beachwood resident.
Shoplifting, May 23 — Police arrested a woman for stealing more than $50 of merchandise from a Beachwood Place Mall store.
Disorderly Conduct, May 24 — Two juveniles were arrested for disorderly conduct at Beachwood Place Mall.
Disturbance, May 24 — A woman came to Beachwood Police station to report that while she was driving on Richmond Road, someone threw something at her car, striking it. The incident happened at about 7 p.m.
