BEACHWOOD, OH — Richard K. Smucker is the recipient of the 7th Annual Maltz Heritage Award, the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage announced this week. A new website honors Smucker and his accomplishments, which earned him this award.

“Richard is a purpose-driven leader whose family’s reputation for integrity and decency has been the key to Smucker’s staying power,” said Museum co-founder, Milton Maltz in a video message paying tribute to the honoree.

The recipients of the Maltz Heritage Award are traditionally honored during a public ceremony at the Cleveland Museum of Art. With the new coronavirus continuing to limit public gatherings, the Maltz Museum had to rethink how it honored its award recipients.
