Guests can also play in the Everyday Heroes Activity Center, where books, crafts, and other activities will display what it means to be an everyday hero. Kids can build with jumbo Legos, tell a story in puppet theater, run around in the good movement area or paint kindness rocks to share.

Maltz's core exhibition at this time is An American Story, which guests can take a self-guided tour of during Community Hero Day. The story follows siblings Samuel and Sarah as they immigrate from Russia to the United States during the late 1800s.
