Man Arrested With Weapon At Beachwood Place Mall
Police broke up a scuffle between three men on Friday afternoon and arrested one of the men for carrying a concealed weapon.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Less than three weeks after Beachwood Place Mall was placed on lockdown because of a pair of shooting incident, police had to break up a scuffle at the shopping facility on Friday. One of the men arrested after the pushing and shoving match was also carrying a concealed weapon.
According to police, three men were pushing and shoving each other. Police arrived at about 4 p.m. and broke up the scuffle, before arresting two of the three men. The third man was cited for disorderly conduct and then released.
Beachwood Police are still investigating the case, so details are scarce. However, a member of the department said the man charged with carrying a concealed weapon was a 23-year-old. They could not say if the weapon was a gun.

Two to three shots were fired outside the shopping complex, near Saks Fifth Avenue at about 3 p.m. That shooting was apparently part of a fight between two men that knew each other, Beachwood Police Chief Gary Haba said in a press release. One of the men was wounded, suffering a gunshot wound to the leg. The other man was arrested at the scene. Both men are in police custody.
The second shooting incident took place at about 6 p.m. A man's gun accidentally fired while he was walking into the mall. The man then ran off.
