Man Passes Out at Wheel, Officers Suspect Heroin: Beachwood Police

BEACHWOOD, OH -

Possession of Marijuana, Nov. 7 - Three juveniles were found smoking weed at Beachwood City Park, 24625 Shaker Boulevard. The kids had a three gram bag of marijuana and were in the park after closing time.

Suspicion, Nov. 8 - A patient at Park East Healthcare reported they were slapped by an intern.

Possession of Heroin, Nov. 8 - Police found an unconscious man passed out behind the wheel of his car near Chagrin Boulevard and I-271 South. The man was arrested for having control of a motor vehicle while drunk or on drugs. Police searched his car and found what they suspect is heroin.

OVI, Nov. 8 - A man drove off Shaker Boulevard and was quickly arrested by police for failing to control his car. The man had no license and had an open container of alcohol visible in his car.

Theft, Nov. 8 - A woman left her purse unattended at Beachwood Place Mall, 26300 Cedar Rd., and someone snatched it.

Attempted Theft, Nov. 10 - Crestmont Cadillac reported someone attempted to steal tires from their cars.

Shoplifting, Nov. 10 - A man was arrested for stealing from H&M at Beachwood Place Mall. The would-be thief was trying to get away with a pair of black sunglasses and a multipack of underwear. Combined the items were wroth $22.98.
