Man Steals Cash From Beachwood Hotel, Flees Area
The man was spotted driving south on I-271 in a black SUV.

BEACHWOOD, OH - Police are looking for a man that stole cash from a local Beachwood hotel. The man ran from the building and drove out of town in a black SUV. Read more on that incident and others from the weekend below.
Warrant Served, April 28 - Fugitive recovery agents brought a man wanted through Shaker Heights Municipal Court to the Beachwood Police Department.
Marijuana Possession, April 28 - Five juvenile males were caught with marijuana in the garage of the Hamptons, 27020 Cedar Rd. The boys were all released to their parents and the marijuana was taken for evidence.

Larceny, April 28 - The manager of Beachwood Pointe Rehab, 23900 Chagrin Blvd., reported that a pain pill was missing.
Damage, April 29 - Loose concrete in a Shaker Boulevard driveway damaged a resident's car.

Shoplifting, April 29 - H&M loss prevention at Beachwood Place Mall, 26300 Cedar Rd., stopped a woman for shoplifting. However, no stolen merchandise was found on her person and officers could not determine where the missing merchandise was. The woman was released and no police action was requested.
Theft from Auto, April 30 - A wallet was stolen from a parked car at the BP Gas Station, 25705 Chagrin Blvd. The car was parked at Pump 1.
Theft from Building, April 30 - The staff at the Clarion Hotel, 26300 Chagrin Blvd., reported that a man stole $183 from the cash drawer and then fled the building. He drove south on I-271 in a black Infiniti SUV.
