Mischief Abounds In Beachwood
Several incidents involving criminal mischief have occurred in Beachwood over the past week, including: eggings, glass breaking and more.

BEACHWOOD, OH — The waning summer months have seen a lot of criminal mischief in Beachwood. Just this past week resident's reported getting egged and having glass bottles smashed in their driveways. Read on for more information on those incidents and others from the past week.
Theft from Building, July 24 — A man's cellphone was stolen while he was at Lifetime Fitness, 3850 Richmond Rd. The phone is valued at $600.
Shoplifting, July 24 — Police arrested a man for felony theft after he shoplifted eight items, worth $1,024, from Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Rd. Harassing Communication, July 24 — A woman's estranged husband has been harassing her over the phone at her Beachwood workplace.
Threatening Phone Call, July 24 — A resident's friend reportedly made threatening comments toward him while on the phone.

Fraud, July 24 — Someone used a Beachwood company's credit card to make $4,997 in fraudulent purchases.
Red Light Violation, July 25 — Police stopped a woman on Chagrin Boulevard for running a red light. The woman had an active warrant out for her arrest and was taken into custody.
Shoplifting, July 26 — Police say a male shopper at Giant Eagle, 24601 Chagrin Blvd., stole at least $7.99 of merchandise from the grocery store.
Marijuana Possession, July 26 — After being involved in a traffic accident on Cedar Road, a man was cited for possession of marijuana.
Criminal Mischief, July 27 — A resident on Sittinbourne Road called police to say someone was breaking glass bottles in her driveway.
License Suspension, July 27 — Police stopped a woman for tailgating another car. The woman had a suspended license and active warrants for her arrest through Bainbridge Police, North Randall Police and Shaker Heights Police. The woman was taken into custody.
Suspicion, July 27 — Staff at Equity Planning Corp saw a man sitting outside their office building. The man is the son of an employee of the company and has shown up on the premises and caused havoc before. The staff wants the man banned.
Criminal Mischief, July 27 — Someone egged a Bryden Road resident's house.
