Nearly 80 Beachwood Residents Without Power
Equipment damage has left residents near Twickenham Drive in the dark on a cold winter day.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Nearly 80 FirstEnergy customers are without power Thursday morning. FirstEnergy said some of its equipment was damaged, causing the outage.
The residents are all centered around Twickenham Drive and Cedar Road, according to the company's power outages map. Power should be restored by noon, the company estimates.
It's not clear what caused the equipment damage, but FirstEnergy has requested additional crews respond to the area. Temperatures are currently in the high 20s on Cleveland's east side, and a layer of snow fell overnight.
