Part Of I-271 Closed Sunday

Interstate 271 will see familiar orange barrels on Sunday. An exit ramp on I-271 north onto Mayfield Road and the eastbound Mayfield Road entrance ramp to I-271 north, will both be closed from 6 a.m. to noon on Sunday, March 12.

The closures of the ramps will be staggered, so that both ramps will not be closed at the same time. The Ohio Department of Transportation says that drivers will be directed to a detour north on Wilson Mills Road to I-271 south back to Mayfield Road.

Similarly, Mayfield Road drivers will be guided via Mayfield Road westbound to I-271 north entrance ramp. Both ramps will remain open to emergency service vehicles.
