Peloton recently made headlines after an advertisement for its high-end exercise bike drew ire from some audiences. During a 30-second TV spot, an already thin actress is seen using the bike in a variety of shots. The looks on her face, which could be read as determination, got interpreted as looks of desperation, if not something worse, by some on the Internet.

People then slammed the ad, titled "The Gift That Keeps Giving," as sexist and patriarchal. The company's stock dropped 15 percent. Aviation Gin then launched an ad poking fun at the Peloton spot.
