The first Bison gather near their old stomping grounds at the Beachwood High School Class of 1961 Reunion
The first pack of Beachwood High School Bison spent this weekend catching up and renewing acquaintances during their 50th class reunion. Their legacy endures; these are the students who picked the colors, the mascot and even wrote the school song.
Patch caught up with them on Saturday, during their class dinner at Landerhaven Executive Caterers. We asked them to finish this sentence: "You know you graduated from BHS in 1961 if..." From the answers, we learned that the high school had a couple of food fights, a memorable physical education teacher, and lost its first football game by a tremendous score.
But we didn't catch everyone! Whether you were in the class of 1961 or 2011, we want to hear you memories, too.
