ORANGE VILLAGE, Ohio – Nov. 12, 2019 – Getting into the holiday spirit and checking items off your wish list happen at Pinecrest, Cleveland’s most sought-after mixed-used district. This year, Pinecrest is offering a unique lineup of seasonal events that families and friends can enjoy all season long, plus several highly anticipated grand openings.

It starts with a brand-new nightly attraction—Pinecrest Nights of Lights—a one-of-a-kind choreographed holiday light show that strings together a combination of illuminations. The shows are programmed by Cincinnati-based electrical engineer Carson Williams, famously known for his viral Christmas lights home video that was later featured in a Miller Lite commercial, on the Today Show and the BBC. This will be Williams’s first light show program in Cleveland.

The expansive light show will encompass Pinecrest’s Central Park, located between Silverspot Cinema and Pinstripes. Guests can watch the magic of the season unfold before their eyes as thousands of lights throughout the park dance to the music of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The thematic shows begin November 27 and run at the top of each hour from 5 to 10 p.m. every evening through January 1.

In addition, the momentum of Pinecrest Grand Openings continues with an exciting lineup of new stores and restaurants, just in time for the holidays.

  • Urban Outfitters – Shoppers can enjoy a gift with purchase, gift card raffles, and food and beverages on opening day –, November 21, at 10 a.m.
  • RED Pinecrest – Named one of the top 10 steakhouses in the country, the highly anticipated new RED Pinecrest officially opens for dinner on Black Friday, November 29.
  • Peloton – Known for bringing a world-class indoor cycling studio experience right to people’s homes, Peloton opens its first Cleveland showroom at Pinecrest this holiday season.
  • Luxe Redux Bridal – Opening just in time for the holidays and those holiday engagements is a Columbus-based designer sample bridal boutique that seeks and stocks the best designer bridal samples from around the country at a fraction of the cost. Because these gowns have been tried on a time or two, they come at a steep discount of 20%-90% off retail.

Visitors will also be able to explore other recently opened retailers such as J. Crew, Sephora, INDOCHINO and more, making it a one-stop destination for their holiday shopping.

And shopping in the district has its perks with exclusive sales promotions. Shoppers receive a $10 Pinecrest gift card if they spend at least $100 on Black Friday and/or at least $50 on Small Business Saturday (locally owned/independent establishments only). Shoppers must bring their qualifying receipts to Pinecrest Guest Services in order to receive a gift card, while supplies last. In addition, shop on December 14 and 21 during the “January Bonus Days” and receive a $10 bounce back Pinecrest gift card redeemable in January 2020.

Beyond lights and beyond savings, Pinecrest will be gifting a unique mix of experiences to visitors from meet-and-greets with Santa to classic carriage rides:

  • Mingle with Kringle – Back for another year, families have the chance to book their Santa experience at various Pinecrest locations throughout the season. From November 29 through December 22, visitors can share an interactive experience with Santa making for a unique photo-op. Experiences will feature a movie screening at Silverspot Cinema, painting at Color Me Mine, bowling and brunch at Pinstripes, and candle-making at The Candle Studio. Carriage rides will be free of charge.
  • Outdoor Screenings – Catch timeless holiday classics on the big screen from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sundays through December 22.
  • Menorah Lighting – In partnership with Park Synagogue, this lighting ceremony takes place in Central Park on December 22 at 5:30 p.m.
