Pipeline Construction Coming To Beachwood

Ohio Dominion East will replace 3,000 feet of gas distribution pipeline between Pepper Pike and Beachwood.

BEACHWOOD, OH - Fairmount Boulevard between Brainard and Richmond roads in Beachwood will be seeing some construction this summer and fall. Dominion East Ohio Gas will be replacing gas distribution pipeline beneath the street. Some 54 houses will be impacted by the construction, the city of Beachwood said on Facebook.

The pipeline replacement will begin in Pepper Pike on May 15 and continue through Beachwood. Construction is expected to conclude in late September. During the work, traffic will be maintained in both direction, but you should expect delays.

Dominion East launched its $4 billion pipeline replacement program in 2008. The plan was to replace some 5,500 miles of the company's 22,000-mile pipeline system. Beachwood's project will see 3,000 feet of pipeline replaced.
