Planned Power Outage In Beachwood Rescheduled For Passover

The city told CEI that a planned outage that would have occurred Friday morning would need to be moved.

BEACHWOOD, OH β€” A planned power outage that would have occurred April 6 will be rescheduled, the city of Beachwood announced Wednesday. Officials said the outage would be moved to prevent problems for the city's residents observing Passover.

"We informed CEI, this is a holiday and such a power outage would be a hardship for many of our residents especially the Orthodox community," the city said on its website.

The Illuminating Company will be resending calls to residents informing them that the power outage will be rescheduled and will not happen this Friday. It has not been determined yet when the power outage will take place.
