Police Arrest Heroin Users in Beachwood Place Mall Parking Lot: Police Blotter
This weekend's incidents included two heroin users trying to shoot up in the parking lot of the mall.

BEACHWOOD, OH - This weekend's incidents included a man reporting a crime to police only to get arrested himself, another shoplifter at Beachwood Place Mall getting caught, and heroin getting busted in the mall parking lot.
Improper License Plates, Oct. 7 - Police stopped a man for driving with fake license plates. When the man could not prove he owned the car, officers had the vehicle towed.
Heroin Possession, Oct. 7 - Two men were arrested in the parking lot of Beachwood Place Mall, 26100 Cedar Rd., for possession of heroin and drug instruments. The pair had a syringe and a syringe cap with heroin.

Theft, Oct. 8 - An adult woman was arrested after she was caught shoplifting from Sephora at Beachwood Place Mall. The woman was attempting to steal perfume, lip stick, fix it, and lip balm. There was a total of $296 worth of goods on the woman's person.
Receiving Stolen Property, Oct. 8 - A man called police to report his vehicle stolen, but then declined to file a report. When officers investigated the man, they found that he had a pair of stolen Levi slacks from Dillard's, worth $46.99. Officers arrested the man.

Theft, Oct. 8 - An incarcerated man reported, through an attorney, that a former employee cashed a check for $3,800 that was intended for the incarcerated man. The check was delivered on April 18, 2016 to Fast Track Energy Drink, 3401 Enterprise Pkwy. Suite 340.
Warrant Served, Oct. 9 - Officers arrested a woman wanted by Shaker Heights Municipal Court.
