Police Bust Man Holding Weed, Fake License Plates
The weekend after Halloween was a busy one for Beachwood cops.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Police stopped a man with fake license plates on Saturday. Officer soon found the man was holding more than just fake license plates — he also had marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.

Shoplifting, Nov. 3 — Police arrested a juvenile boy for shoplifting from Dillard's at Beachwood Place Mall, 26300 Cedar Rd. The boy was trying to steal $278 of merchandise.

Disabled Motor Vehicle, Nov. 3 — Officer stopped a car on Fairmount Blvd. for driving with illegal license plates. The driver was issued a citation, the plates were seized by police, and the car was towed.
Lost Property, Nov. 3 — A woman's wallet was either stolen or lost while she was in Lyndhurst.

Possession of Marijuana, Nov. 4 — A man was arrested for receiving stolen property on Saturday. The man was taken into custody near Chelm Properties, 21111 Chagrin Blvd. The man was also found to be in possession of marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia and fake license plates.
Criminal Mischief, Nov. 4 — A young man discharged a fire extinguisher at Young Israel of Greater Cleveland on Saturday, bringing police to the scene.
Warrant Served, Nov. 5 — Police took custody of a person wanted in Shaker Heights Municipal Court on Sunday.
