Police Find Wanted Man After He Accidentally Dials 911: Beachwood Police Blotter
Officers also stopped shoplifters at Beachwood Place and a woman's car was stolen from the mall parking lot.

BEACHWOOD, OH - Today's police blotter lesson? If you have an outstanding warrant for your arrest, don't accidentally dial 911. Do that and chances are good you'll be getting cuffed.
Harassment, Oct. 6 - A man has been making threatening phone calls to the Embassy Suites, 3775 Park East Dr. Officers warned the man that he could not have any further contact with the company.
Theft, Oct. 5 - Police arrested two juveniles for shoplifting from Sephora and H&M at Beachwood Place Mall, 26300 Cedar Rd. The first juvenile was stealing liquid lipstick, false eyelashes, and a blender sponge. The total value of the items was $54. The second juvenile attempted to steal a purple fuzzyball keychain, valued at $9.99 from H&M.

Found Property, Oct. 4 - Staff at the Double Tree Hotel, 3663 Park East, turned over a handgun magazine and ammunition to police. The items had been in the lost and found at the hotel for more than a year. Staff does not know who the owner of the items is.
Disorderly Conduct, Oct. 4 - Police arrested a man at Big Lots, 24295 Chagrin Blvd., after he harassed a female customer and grabbed her butt. When being interviewed by police, the man falsified his identify.

Warrant Served, Oct. 3 - An employee at Weinberger & Vizy medical offices, 3690 Orange Place, accidentally called 911. When police arrived to verify the accidental call they learned that the man had an outstanding warrant in Lake County for a traffic offense. The man was arrested and turned over to a Lake County deputy.
Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Oct. 3 - A woman reported that her car was stolen out of the parking garage at Beachwood Place Mall.
