Police Stop License Plate-less Car, Arrest Driver: Beachwood Police

The man had a suspended license, but apparently decided to take a joyride in a plateless car.

BEACHWOOD, OH - If you're going to attempt driving with a suspended license (which you should not do), then you probably want an inconspicuous car. One man found that out the hard way when he got pulled over in a car without license plates.

Suspicion, Jan. 16 - A woman found a strange item on her car, which parked at at the Jewish Community Center, 26001 South Woodland Ave.

Shoplifting, Jan. 16 - Two juveniles males were arrested for shoplifting at Marshall's, 24065 Chagrin Blvd. One boy was trying to get away with $24.9 worth of merchandise. The other boy had $14.99 worth of merchandise.

Expired License Plates, Jan. 16 - Officers stopped a car on Hurlingham Road for driving without license plates. When they spoke to the driver, they found that his license had been suspended. The driver was arrested.

Assistance, Jan. 17 - Police took a report from a woman who says she has been getting annoying, frequent phone calls at her office in Commerce Park.

Criminal Mischief, Jan. 18 - Three men were arrested because they stole a pair of golf carts from Deville Apartments and enjoyed a joy ride around town.

Shoplifting, Jan. 18 - Police arrested a woman for stealing $46.99 worth of merchandise from Dillards, 26500 Cedar Rd.
