Reminder: Beachwood Snow Parking Ban May Impact All City Streets
When snow falls for a day or more and accumulates up to 2 inches, parking may be prohibited on all city streets.

BEACHWOOD, OH - The snow parking ban for the city goes into effect when snow falls for a day or more, and up to 2 inches of snow accumulates, the city said on Facebook. At that point, parking may be prohibited on all city streets.
That means, if you're parked on the street during a snow parking ban, your car is liable to be towed. If weather turns nasty for an extended period of time (as it has these past two days) it would be wise to move your vehicle into a driveway or parking garage.
The city is also asking residents to be cognizant of Beachwood Service Department workers who are clearing snow from main drags and side streets.

They note that snow plows should be given plenty of room because a loaded plow can between 20 and 40 tons and that amount of weight does not come to a stop quickly or easily. The city recommends giving these vehicles up to 100 feet of space.
The current forecast calls for mixed precipitation throughout the rest of the week, with the major snowfall hopefully disappearing after Tuesday. A mixture of rain and snow could be falling by the weekend.
