Richmond Road Construction Projects In Beachwood Start April 16

BEACHWOOD, OH — Commuters that use the Chagrin Boulevard-Richmond Road area may soon find themselves slowed down. That's because crews will be doing work in the area starting April 16. Their construction will occasionally close a lane in the area.

A 30 inch water line is being replaced in the Chagrin-Richmond area, the city said on Facebook. While most of the construction will take place after 7 p.m., lanes may occasionally be closed during the day, mostly between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Construction should wrap up in two weeks, the city said. Work in the Chagrin-Richmond area won't be the only project starting April 16.

Dominion Energy is continuing its gas line replacement project in the Fairmount Boulevard-Richmond Roads area, and moving along north to Cedar Rd. The lane closest to the curb will be closed during construction.

That project is slated to be wrapped by the end of summer.
