BEACHWOOD, OH — The first-ever Ruth Bader Ginsburg exhibition will come to the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage on Feb. 24.

Called "Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg," the exhibit will look at the career and history of the Supreme Court justice and trailblazing feminist. The exhibit is based on the best-selling book of the same name and was created in partnership with the authors.

“Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg embodied the Jewish value of respect for all humanity,” said David Schafer, managing director of the Maltz Museum. “The Maltz Museum expresses the same value, as we work toward a more inclusive, just, and civil society. We are honored to share the Justice’s story with visitors, in person and online.”

The exhibition takes a "deeply personal journey" through the life and world of Ginsburg, the Maltz Museum said in an email. It examines her role on the Supreme Court, but also her time as a student, life partner, mother, change-making lawyer, judge, women's rights pioneer and pop culture icon.

The exhibit will run from Feb. 24 to Aug. 29, 2021.

The Maltz Museum said the exhibit, like the book, will make playful reference to Ginsburg's similarities to rap icon Notorious B.I.G., who, like Ginsburg, was born and raised in Brooklyn. Each section of the exhibit will play on a B.I.G. lyric or song.
