Shoplifter Chased Down In Beachwood By Police
Officers had to pursue a suspect on foot to apprehend him.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Officers had to chase down a shoplifter at Dillard's on Monday. The suspect tried to steal $130 of merchandise and took off on foot when officers tried to apprehend him.

Shoplifting, Sept. 25 — A woman stole two jackets from Saks Fifth Avenue, 26100 Cedar Rd. The jackets were worth $1,893.

Shoplifting, Sept. 25 — Police apprehended a shoplifter at Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Rd. Officers had to chase the man on foot after he stole about $130 of merchandise from the store.

Burglary, Sept. 28 — Someone stole jewelry from a R.H. Meyers Apartment resident's safe.
Criminal Damage, Sept. 28 — A woman's car window was broken while she was at a city park.
