Shoplifters Busted 1 Day Before Thanksgiving In Beachwood
They were not grateful for police on Wednesday.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Beachwood cops did not get to relax in the days before Thanksgiving. The department's officers had to deal with a variety of crimes, including a pair of shoplifters at Nordstrom and Dillard's. Check out what officers had to grapple with prior to turkey day.
Warrant Served, Nov. 20 — A woman was arrested in Cleveland for failing to appear in Shaker Heights Municipal Court. Police took custody of the woman.
Disturbance, Nov. 20 — Police helped evict a man at the Fairfield Inn, 3750 Orange Pl., for causing a disturbance.

Damaged Property, Nov. 20 — Someone damaged a S. Woodland resident's lamp post.
Non-Criminal Damage, Nov. 21 — A semi-truck struck low-hanging utility wires as it left a Commerce Park business. The damage caused a disruption to utility services in the area.

Found Property, Nov. 21 — A wallet was left on a police cruiser outside Beachwood Place Mall, 26300 Cedar Rd.
Found Property, Nov. 22 — A backpack was left in the backseat of a ride provider's car. The driver turned the backpack into Beachwood Police.
OVI, Nov. 22 — Officers arrested a woman for driving a vehicle while impaired. Police stopped the woman on Green Road, near Chagrin Boulevard.
Shoplifting, Nov. 22 — A man was arrested for shoplifting $370 of merchandise from Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Rd. The man also had an active warrant through Maple Heights, for failing to appear for a traffic offense.
Shoplifting, Nov. 22 — A juvenile girl was arrested for shoplifting $690 of merchandise from Nordstrom at Beachwood Place Mall.
License Suspension, Nov. 22 — Police stopped a woman for failing to use her turn signals. The woman also had a suspended driver's license and suspected contraband in her vehicle.
