Shoplifters Steal $1,000s From Beachwood Stores
Police helped bust shoplifters that were stealing loads of merchandise from local stores.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Shoplifters got busy this weekend in Beachwood, stealing loads of merchandise from stores at Beachwood Place Mall. Luckily, officers were able to bust many of the suspects. Read on for more information on those shoplifting incidents, and other incidents from the weekend.
Warrant Served, Dec. 8 — A man was arrested on Fairmount Boulevard, near I-271, on an active warrant.
Warrant Served, Dec. 8 — Police arrested a man near Abba Capitol Enterprise for an outstanding traffic warrant.

Fraud, Dec. 8 — Two bad checks were used at the Jewish Community Center.
Theft from Building, Dec. 8 — Dorskey Yue employees reported a theft from the building on Friday night. About $218 of property was stolen.

OVI, Dec. 9 — A man was stopped on Fire Station Drive for driving without lights at 12:37 a.m. The man was arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired.
Shoplifting, Dec. 9 — Police arrested a woman for shoplifting $677 of merchandise from Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Rd.
Non-Criminal Damage, Dec. 9 — A driver hit a light pole outside the Beachwood Family Medicine Department, 26900 Cedar Road.
Shoplifting, Dec. 9 — Police arrested a man for shoplifting $660 of merchandise from Dillard's. The man also obstructed official business.
Aggravated Menacing, Dec. 10 — A customer at Zara, at Beachwood Place Mall, threatened an employee.
Shoplifting, Dec. 10 — Police are looking for a person that shoplifted $495 from Dillard's.
Shoplifting, Dec. 10 — A man was arrested for shoplifting four bottles of beer from True North Gas Station. The man was also banned from the property, so visited the store also got him a trespassing charge.
