Shoplifters, Trespassers Continue To Haunt Beachwood Mall
Even after the holiday rush, Beachwood Place Mall continues to see an uptick in shoplifting and trespassing incidents.

BEACHWOOD, OH — The holiday rush may be over, but Beachwood police are still seeing an uptick in incidents at Beachwood Place Mall. Shoplifters and trespassers continue to visit the shopping center, some looking for five finger discounts.
Missing Person, Dec. 25 — A man was reported missing to police on Christmas day. After a brief search, the man was found in Highland Heights.
Disturbance, Dec. 25 — Two men were sharing a room at the Double Tree Hotel, 3663 Park East, on Christmas. One of the men began acting erratically, possibly threatening his roommate. The roommate then called police who resolved the situation.

Shoplifting, Dec. 26 — Police arrested a woman for stealing $172 of merchandise from Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Rd.
Disorderly Conduct, Dec. 26 — A man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he made a scene in the parking lot of Lifetime Fitness, 3850 Richmond Rd.

Shoplifting, Dec. 26 — A woman was arrested for stealing about $157 of merchandise from Dillard's.
Juvenile Complaint, Dec. 26 — A juvenile boy was banned from Beachwood Mall property. The boy had a warrant for his arrest in Geauga County and was turned over to sheriffs from that county.
Shoplifting, Dec. 27 — Two pairs of shoes were stolen from the Vans store at Beachwood Place Mall. The culprit, a man, was caught by police. The man had previously been banned from the property and was also charged with criminal trespassing.
Theft from Building, Dec. 27 — About $250 was stolen from a strongbox at the Park East Healthcare.
