Sleeping Driver Busted In Beachwood
A woman fell asleep behind the wheel of her car and was arrested for driving while impaired.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Sleeping behind the wheel of a car will catch the notice of police. Officers spotted a woman taking a siesta in her car while on Chagrin Boulevard, near the I-271 north exit. The woman was arrested for operating a vehicle impaired and slow speed (really, really slow speed). A man in her car was also cited for marijuana possession.

Body Found, Feb. 23 — An elderly woman was found dead at the R.H. Meyers Apartments. Police said she died of natural causes.

Trespassing, Feb. 23 — Police arrested a man for trespassing at Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Rd. The man was also found with criminal tools.
Having Weapon Under Disability, Feb. 23 — A man was arrested at Beachwood Place Mall for having a weapon with a disability (which can include previous felony convictions). A second man was also arrested for carrying a concealed weapon.

Suspicious Phone Calls, Feb. 24 — Someone called a Hawthorne Drive resident and said some suspicious things, police said.
Disturbance, Feb. 24 — Two employees at Beachwood Pointe Rehab got into an argument on Saturday.
Disturbance, Feb. 24 — Saturday was a big day for fighting between coworkers. Police were called to Aldo at Beachwood Place Mall to break-up an argument between two staffers.
Suspicion, Feb. 24 — A package was missing from Jump Start Gymnastics. The package contained important payroll documents, according to police records.
