Stolen Car Found In Beachwood

A car was stolen from a patron of Lifetime Fitness. Police located the suspected thief and the vehicle.

BEACHWOOD, OH - Officers were able to quickly solve a stolen car mystery this past week in Beachwood. Read on to find more information on that incident and others.

Disturbance, April 10 - A client of H&R Business complained to police that the company lost his tax paperwork.

Grand Theft Vehicle, April 10 - Police were called to Lifetime Fitness, 3850 Richmond Road, for reports of a stolen car. When police arrived they were able to identify a male suspect who has criminal charges pending. They were also able to recover the vehicle.

Shoplifting, April 10 - A $1,050 coat was the target of a shoplifter at Saks Fifth Avenue, 26100 Cedar Road. Police were able to catch and arrest the would-be thief.

Shoplifting, April 11 - Police arrested an adult male for shoplifting from Saks Fifth Avenue. The man was found with $645 of merchandise on his person. He also resisted arrest and trespassed at Beachwood Place Mall.

Disturbance, April 11 - Three men were banned from Beachwood Place Mall because they were driving erratically in the parking lot.

Menacing, April 12 - A vocational counselor reported that one of her clients threatened her. She did not wish to pursue charges against the client, but did want a report made.

Shoplifting, April 12 - A juvenile girl was arrested for shoplifting from H&M at Beachwood Place Mall. The girl attempted to steal $7.99 worth of merchandise.

Theft of Identity, April 13 - A woman came to Beachwood Police Station to report that her identity had been stolen and used to open a credit card account.

Marijuana Possession, April 13 - Police stopped a driver for a traffic violation on Richmond Road. Officers found marijuana in the driver's car. He was cited for both offenses and let go.
