Stolen Credit Card, Weed Paraphernalia: Beachwood Police Blotter
Someone found a woman's credit card and tried to get access to her account, police said.

BEACHWOOD, OH — A woman's credit card was found at the Hamptons Inn in Beachwood. Whoever found the card took money from the woman's checking account and then tried to reorder one of the woman's cards and have it sent to Chicago. The woman discovered the fraud and alerted police.

Attempted Shoplifting, August 13 — Police stopped a woman that was trying to steal more than $2,000 of merchandise from Dillard's.

Theft from Automobile, August 13 — A cellphone was taken out of a car parked on Fairmount Boulevard, near the Aquatic Center.
Suspicion, August 15 — Two men stole alcohol from the BP/Lehigh gas station on Wednesday. Police said the situation was settled by a BP employee.

Suspicious Person, August 15 — A masked person tried to get into Signature Square's lobby at about 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday night.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, August 17 — Police stopped a car on Richmond Road on early Friday morning. The woman driving the car was cited for driving with a suspended license and making an improper turn at an intersection. A man in the passenger seat was cited for wrongful entrustment of his car and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
OVI, August 17 — A driver failed to obey right-of-way signs on a thru street on early Friday morning, police said. The driver was found to be impaired and was arrested. The driver already had a suspended license for driving impaired.
