Stolen Handgun, Weed Found On Juveniles In Beachwood

BEACHWOOD, OH — Four juveniles were caught by Beachwood Police with a stolen handgun and marijuana on early Friday morning. Police found a Taurus handgun in their possession and arrested the four. They were also cited for a curfew violation.

OVI, June 1 — Police stopped a car near La Place Mall and parking garage on early Friday morning. The vehicle was allegedly drifting out of its marked lane. Police arrested the driver for being intoxicated.

Improperly Handling a Firearm, June 1 — Four juveniles were arrested at 2:30 a.m. on Friday after the car they were in made an illegal turn. The juveniles had a stolen Taurus handgun and marijuana. They were also in violation of curfew.

Warrant Served, June 1 — A woman was stopped for driving with expired license plates. The woman had no operator's license and had a warrant for her arrest with the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The woman was taken into police custody.

Shoplifting, June 1 — Officers arrested a man for stealing more than $340 of merchandise from Dillard's on Friday.

Suspicion, June 2 — Police were called to the Fresh Healthy Cafe at Beachwood Place Mall on Saturday for a criminal mischief and suspicion report. It does not appear anyone was arrested after officers investigated.

Disorderly Conduct, June 3 — Callers reported an intoxicated man at the True North Gas station that was unable to take care of himself. Officers arrived and arrested the man for disorderly conduct.

Marijuana Possession, June 3 — Three men were cited for marijuana possession in Beachwood City Park. Two of the men were also cited for drug paraphernalia possession.

Found Property, June 3 — A Huntington bank card was found at Beachwood Place Mall and turned over to police.
