Stolen Video Games Found In Man's Car In Beachwood

Police stopped a car for a red light violation on Wednesday. Inside the car they found a bonanza of stolen merchandise.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Five stolen video games were found inside the car of a man stopped by police this week. That was one of a bevy of incidents that officers grappled with during the past five days. Read about all of those incidents below.

Damage Property, April 23 — A construction crew cut through fiber optic cables owned by the city of Beachwood.

Found Property, April 23 — A woman turned a wallet she found at a local gas station into police.

Suspicion, April 24 — Someone stole a resident's personal information, through the resident's accounting firm, and used that information to make unauthorized charges to the resident's cell phone account.

Receiving Stolen Property, April 25 — Police arrested a man on Hilltop Drive. The man may have a run a red light, prompting police to stop his car. Officers found five stolen video games from the Microsoft Store in the man's possession.

OVI, April 26 — At 2 a.m. Thursday, police stopped a car on South Woodland Road. Officers arrested the woman driving the car and charged her with operating a vehicle impaired and improperly handling a firearm.
