Sun News: Protective Fence to Be Built Around Beachwood Schools' Bus Garage

Planning and Zoning approve plans

The Planning and Zoning Commission approved final plans for a protective fence around the Beachwood Schools' bus garage at its meeting Thursday.

The fence will be 6 feet tall and chain-link on three sides, and ornamental in design in the front of the facility. Existing pine trees in front will be left there, said a representative from architect Behnke Associates.

The garage has an oil well and oil storage, school officials noted, and security is necessary. Though a gate is planned, police and fire departments will have access.
