Suspicious Man Arrested Near Playground In Beachwood
Police said the man had an open container of alcohol and marijuana in his possession.

BEACHWOOD, OH — A Good Samaritan saw a man acting suspiciously near a South Woodland Road playground and called police on Saturday. The suspect may have been intoxicated, because he was arrested for having an open container of alcohol and marijuana, police said.

Suspicion, July 13 — A Concord Drive resident called police after someone they didn't know parked outside their house and sat in their car for two hours, police said.

Disturbance, July 13 — Apparently unaware of where they were, two people decided to have a shouting argument in the parking lot of Beachwood Police Station. They were broken up by officers.
Found Property, July 13 — A Beachwood Place Mall shopper found a man's credit card in the shopping complex. The patron turned it over to police for safekeeping.

Damaged Property, July 14 — Saturday was not a good day for a Fairmount Boulevard man. He reportedly hit his own house while trying to back-up. Police responded to the scene and there's no indication anyone was hurt...besides maybe someone's pride.
Theft from Motor Vehicle, July 14 — A $150 laptop was stolen out of a car parked at the Deville Apartments on Saturday.
Criminal Damaging, July 15 — A man said his car was kicked by a motorcyclist on I-271. He said the kick was purposeful.
