Thieves Stealing Merchandise Out Of Shopping Bags In Beachwood
With more shoppers visiting Beachwood Place Mall, some shoplifters are targeting merchandise purchased by customers.

BEACHWOOD, OH — The holiday are in full-swing and so is the holiday shopping season. With more visitors than ever at Beachwood Place Mall, police are dealing with several shoplifters, some of who are stealing products out of other shoppers' bags.
Some of the shoplifting incidents also led to arrests for other crimes. One man was arrested for carrying a counterfeit bill, for example.
Here are four of the shoplifting incidents from over the weekend.

Shoplifting, Dec. 15 — A man and woman were arrested for shoplifting from Dillard's on Friday. The couple were trying to get away with about $175 of merchandise. When police confronted the couple, they found the woman had an active warrant for her arrest from the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office. The man was also found in possession of a counterfeit $50 bill.
Shoplifting, Dec. 16 — A woman was arrested for stealing $188 of merchandise from Sephora at Beachwood Place Mall.

Shoplifting, Dec. 16 — Police arrested a man for shoplifting $195 merchandise from Dillard's.
Theft from Building, Dec. 16 — Three juveniles were arrested for snatching merchandise out of the bag of a Saks Fifth Avenue customer. The value of the stolen merchandise was a little less than $100.
