Trespasser Arrested With Weed At Beachwood Mall

Cops also dealt with a number of forgeries, frauds, and lies over the weekend. Read up on all the incidents in the police blotter.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Police busted a woman with multiple trespassing bans again coming to Beachwood Place Mall on Sunday. The woman was arrested and found to have marijuana in her possession. Read on for more information on that incident and others from the past weekend.

Warrant Served, Aug. 11 — Beachwood Police went to downtown Cleveland to pick up a man wanted on a Shaker Heights Municipal Court warrant.

Forged Check, Aug. 11 — A man was arrested at Peoples Bank, 24400 Chagrin Blvd., for presenting a forged check.

Disturbance, Aug. 11 — Police arrested a man at the Vue, 23220 Chagrin Blvd., for misleading a public official.

Forgery, Aug. 11 — A man told police his signature had been forged on a document at the Montefiore Home, 27080 Cedar Rd.

Theft from Building, Aug. 12 — A resident at East Haven Building 11, 26500 Amhearst Circle, reported that someone stole items from her apartment. The total value of the stolen items is about $3,600.

Juvenile Complaint, Aug. 13 — Callers reported a loud argument taking place on E. Baintree between juveniles. Officers arrived on-scene and were able to break-up the dispute.

Criminal Mischief, Aug. 13 — Someone damaged the sidewalk in front of a Richmond Road home. A resident reported the damage to police.

Trespassing, Aug. 13 — Police arrested a woman for trespassing at Beachwood Place Mall, 26200 Cedar Rd. The woman had been banned from the premises multiple times. When officers arrested the woman, they found marijuana in her possession.

Suspicion, Aug. 13 — A patron at BP Oil, 25705 Chagrin Blvd., made a strange request to the cashier. The man asked if he could plug his USB cord into the back of the cash register to charge a cell phone.

OVI, Aug. 13 — Police stopped a car that was driving 92 mph in a 60 mph zone I-271 north. The driver's field sobriety tests indicated she was impaired and she was arrested. The driver later took a breath test and was over the legal limit.
